Chinese Alliance Church, Fort Myers

The Chinese Alliance Church, located in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a Lead Pastor to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to our congregation.  We desire a leader who will develop and articulate vision, strategy, and goals in conjunction with our church leaders and work to move the church towards discipleship, evangelism, and outreach resulting in spiritual growth and community outreach.  

The Chinese Alliance Church is a congregation of about 90 people. The congregation speaks in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. There are some children and youth, but the body consists largely of middle-age to senior adults. 

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Bible or Theology. The candidate must be able to preach in Mandarin and communicate in Cantonese and English. The ideal candidate would have five or more years of church leadership experience and must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Fort Myers is one of Southwest Florida’s fastest growing cities.  With its world-class beaches, resorts, golfing, museums and shopping, it’s no wonder this is a major tourist destination in Florida.

Christ Community Church, Fort Myers

Christ Community Church (CCC) of Fort Myers, Florida is welcoming applicants to be their new Lead Pastor and guide the church into the next phase of worship, fellowship, and service. The congregation has a growing impact on the surrounding communities and is deeply engaged with Alliance missions throughout the world. However, this is not the time to simply maintain the good things God has done in and through CCC, but to take the work forward!

The Lead Pastor will be an effective communicator who models and encourages prayer and facilitates discipleship, through equipping forums and especially through Life Groups. He will build on the partnerships that help the congregation engage in the community effectively.  He will work cooperatively with the lay leaders, staff, and church family to bring God glory by leveraging the growth of the past, and the healthy condition of the church, into further ministry fruitfulness as a multi-generational and multi-ethnic congregation.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible, Theology, Pastoral Ministry, or a ministry-related field.  An advanced degree or its equivalent, seminary degree or graduate degree in a ministry discipline is preferred. This individual should have a minimum of five years’ experience as a Lead or Teaching Pastor, or equivalent leadership/teaching in a growing congregation. The candidate must be able to meet the licensing and ordination requirements of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Edgewater Alliance Church, Edgewater

Edgewater Alliance Church is looking to fill the position of Pastor of Missional Community and Outreach. EAC believes all followers of Jesus should be both on mission AND in community with others. They are seeking to add a pastoral member to their leadership team who can oversee and build a thriving culture of missional communities by creating an effective missional community system that recruits, equips, and coaches missional community leaders.

This candidate should have a fervent love of Jesus and others and come with substantial experience and success leading missional communities or something comparable. The candidate should be a team player who will be a positive collaborator with the existing staff and elders. Theological training (minimum of a bachelor's degree preferred) is required and the candidate should be in theological alignment with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
