LIFE 2019 Volunteers

The LIFE conference is the largest event that the CMA holds, bringing in nearly 6,000 students from around the globe, and it will be in Orlando from July 9-13th.  We are looking for local churches to partner in serving during that week.  There are single day and whole week opportunities to serve that will make a huge impact in the lives of each student coming!  Ways to serve are:

  • - We need groups of 20 people or more to commit to serving as ushers for one of the main services (Wed-Sat 7:30-10am or Tues-Sat 6-8:30pm).
  • - We need individuals to serve as bus captains with the students each day as they go out to service projects around the city of Orlando (Wed-Sat 10am-4pm).
  • - Friday is our 5K Glow Run which is also open to the public. We need help with set up and cheering the runners along (Fri 6-10:30pm).
  • - There are also general areas of service throughout the conference to facilitate both fun activities and opportunities for deeply intentional spiritual growth.

One of the strengths of the Alliance is its emphasis on family, and we can’t thank you enough for being willing to join us as we serve the next generation of the Alliance family!

To register to serve, visit allianceyouth.com/life and click on the Volunteer Worker tab near the bottom of the page. Questions can also be directed to Heather Kimpel at heather.m.kimpel@gmail.com.

ReNew the City 2019

Your RENEW THE CITY 2019 registration must be in by Thursday, March 28th if you want to get a T-shirt this year.  This is the new design.

The registration cost has changed.  Click the link below to find out how.  You will also find helpful promotional material there.  Please assemble your team and register using this link:  http://www.envisionmiami.org/renew-the-city-miami

ALSO – AN EXCITING UPDATE:  We will have Live Christian Music from local artists to close out the Event from 3:30-5:30.  We will also be grilling food and sharing it with the community.  We are partnering with Seed of Hope to hand out boxes of food (enough for 200-250 families) in the community surrounding the school.  We heard the principal has invited the city councilman, mayor, police and fire department.  It is like the block party we’ve done in the past, but there will be no games for us to run.  Just a fun, family-friendly environment to hang out and enjoy reaching the community.  There will be a short gospel message shared from the stage and we will be there to pray with people.  If you are interested in being part of this and possible helping distribute food, stick around after the work is done.  We will give you more information the day of the event.

For questions, contact Matt and Teri Perrotto at PerrottoM@weareenvision.com.
